Growing up, I fell in love with comic books and dreamed of someday being a famous artist with a major company like Marvel or DC Comics. As I got older and I became more and more in awe of the amazing art, it became clear that my talent didn’t line up with my ambitions. Buying way too many comic books and reproducing iconic comic images in acrylic paint is the closest I can come to the artwork of my dreams.
I don’t consider myself an artist. The true artists are the the ones who originally created the beautiful layouts you’ll find on this site. I’m just a craftsman - doing my best to reproduce the wonderfully gifted illustrations and brilliant colors found in the world of comics.
I paint these covers and images for the pure love and enjoyment of the medium and the hobby. But as I began to share my reproductions, I found that others would like to have a hand-painted reproduction of their own.
